Business Results of the Würth Group in the 1st Half of 2005

• Trading Group has increased sales by 11.6 percent to EUR 3.45 billion after six months
• Operating result has grown by 11.6 percent

Künzelsau/Hohenlohe Region. The Würth Group continues last year’s double-digit growth course in the first half of 2005. The sales of the worldwide largest trading company for fasteners and assembly technology based in the Baden-Württemberg town of Künzelsau went up 11.6 percent to EUR 3.45 billion in the first six months of the business year 2005. Our investment in the sales sector bears fruits.

In June 2005, the Würth Group achieved a record sales volume for the month of EUR 640 million. The preliminary operating result of the first half of 2005 amounts to EUR 240 million (plus 11.6 percent).
