First Non-Stop Flight New York-Schwäbisch Hall
 
Schwäbisch Hall. On 16 January 2007, one of the Würth Group’s five corporate planes flew non-stop from New York to Schwäbisch Hall for the first time. The pilots Gerd Specht, Benedikt Widmaier and Reinhold Würth covered the distance of over 6,346 km (3,970 miles) in a flight time of 6 hours and 39 minutes. Reinhold Würth landed the Falcon 900 EX D-AWKG in Schwäbisch Hall at 9:57 p.m. (local time). The winds were in favor of this venture: with tail wind speeds of up to 150 knots (278 km/h; 174 mph), they partly flew at a basic velocity of over 1,148 km/h (718 mph).
