Press Release of the Würth Group
Yesterday, officials of the commission for investigation of suspected tax evasion searched the Würth Group’s headquarters in Künzelsau in order to take a closer look at the tax documents of the corporate group.
We have been very surprised at this procedure of the authorities since we do not see any reason for that. From our point of view, the company answered basically the questions of the auditors during a routine tax investigation as it had done in the past. Therefore, we are sure that the examination of the documents will prove any suspicious circumstances unfounded.
We will closely cooperate with the authorities and help clarifying the matter as quickly as possible. |
