Künzelsau. In the business year 2005, the Würth Group does not only expand in the field of sales but also concerning its number of employees. In October, Chen Quan from China joined the worldwide biggest trading business in the field of connecting and assembly technology as 50,000th employee. 34-years old Chen Quan has lots of sales experiences, which he gained as employee of an insurance company. From now on, he is going to work in the Chinese Würth company in Guangzhou. This way, the Künzelsau-based trading business added another milestone to the successful company history in 2005 – the year in which Würth celebrated its 60th company anniversary.

In the current business year 2005, the trading company expects a new sales record. Last year, the total consolidated sales volume amounted to EUR 6.2 billion. By the end of September of the current business year, the Würth Group increased its sales compared to the same period under review of the previous year to EUR 5.2 billion, that is by eleven percent. In the business year 2005, the Würth Group also expects a new operating result record.
